December 29th: Flight Lima/Cusco -Sightseeing Tour with 4 Inca Ruins

Arrive at Lima Airport and board your domestic flight to Cusco.

Assistance on arrival in Cusco and transfer to your selected hotel. Free time to take a short rest to be acclimatized to the altitude.

In the afternoon, Historical guided city tour of Cusco visiting the Main Square, the Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun. After, we'll leave the city to visit the Inca sites of Qenqo, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara, and the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuaman.

Qenqo: An archaeological site featuring intriguing carved rock formations and underground channels, believed to have been used by the Incas for ceremonial and religious purposes.

Tambomachay: Known as the "Inca Baths," Tambomachay boasts water fountains used for rituals and purification. Its architecture and hydraulic engineering are remarkable.

Puca Pucara: An ancient military fortress guarding the access to Cusco, named for its red stones.

Sacsayhuaman: An awe-inspiring fortress with enormous, precisely carved stones forming its walls. It offers panoramic views of Cusco.

Return to the city of Cusco.

December 30th: Super Valley Excursion - Train to Aguas Calientes town

Early in the morning, pick up from your hotel in Cusco for your group excursion of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Tour Itinerary:

Explore Moray: First, visit the archaeological site of Moray, known for its impressive concentric terraces used by the Incas for agricultural experiments.
Visit Maras: Continue to the Maras salt mines, where hundreds of pre-Inca salt pools are nestled against a scenic mountain backdrop, still in use today.
Lunch in Urubamba: Enjoy a delicious lunch in Urubamba, sampling traditional Peruvian dishes.
Tour of Ollantaytambo Fortress: After lunch, head to Ollantaytambo and explore its ancient fortress and terraces, learning about its strategic importance during the Inca Empire.
Stay in Ollantaytambo: The tour concludes in Ollantaytambo. Spend the evening at your leisure, exploring the town or resting before your train journey.
Train to Aguas Calientes: Depending on your train schedule, make your way to the station to board your train to Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu.

December 31st: Machu Picchu "The Lost City of the Incas" - Train to Cusco - New Year's Eve Show Dinner

The day starts with an early morning transfer to the bus station for a 30 minute journey, ascending a zigzag path, to the incredible Machu Picchu. Upon arrival, you will embark on a guided tour of the ancient citadel. Highlights include the Main Square, the enigmatic Circular Tower, the sacred Intihuatana (Sun Dial), the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows, and the intricate cemeteries. Lunch in a restaurant at Aguas Calientes town. In the afternoon, back to Cusco by train, and transfer to your selected hotel for overnight. At night, transfer to a restaurant to enjoy a Buffet Dinner Show for New Year's Eve. Free evening.

January 2nd: Flight Cusco/Lima - Departure

Early in the morning, transfer to the airport for your departure to Lima. This marks the conclusion of our travel services, wrapping up an unforgettable journey through the majestic splendors of Machu Picchu.

Yes, a moderate level of fitness is recommended, especially for the Machu Picchu and Rainbow Mountain excursions, which involve walking on uneven terrain and steep inclines at high altitudes.

Bring comfortable walking shoes, lightweight but warm clothing in layers, rain gear, sun protection (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses), a reusable water bottle, and any personal medications. Don’t forget your camera!
