At 9:00 a.m., depart from your hotel for a guided tour of Buenos Aires’ most iconic landmarks.

The visit begins in the exclusive neighborhood of Recoleta, with entrance to the famous Recoleta Cemetery, considered one of the most important in the world for its architecture and for housing the mausoleums of historical figures such as Eva Perón (Evita).

The tour continues to Palermo, the city’s largest neighborhood, known for its parks, plazas, museums, and modern atmosphere. You’ll pass through areas such as Palermo Soho and Palermo Chico, where designer houses, boutique cafés, and European-style architecture stand out.

Next is San Telmo, one of the oldest districts in Buenos Aires, with cobblestone streets, colonial houses, and a bohemian vibe. Here you can experience the city’s historic and artistic soul.

From San Telmo, continue to Puerto Madero, the former port now transformed into a modern urban hub with avant-garde buildings, waterfront restaurants, and pedestrian bridges such as the iconic Puente de la Mujer.

The visit then moves to Plaza de Mayo, the political and historic heart of the city, where you’ll see the Casa Rosada (Presidential Palace), the Cabildo, the Metropolitan Cathedral, and other significant landmarks.

Travel along Avenida 9 de Julio, one of the widest avenues in the world, where you’ll admire monuments such as the Obelisk — symbol of Buenos Aires — and the exterior of the majestic Teatro Colón, one of the world’s leading opera houses.

Finally, arrive in the neighborhood of La Boca, famous for its immigrant heritage and as the birthplace of Boca Juniors Football Club. Free time to stroll along Caminito, an open-air museum street with colorful houses, local artists, and lively tango performances.

At the end of the tour, return transfer to your hotel: Hotel Rochester Concept.

Evening: Tango Dinner Show at El Querandí

At 8:00 p.m., transfer from your hotel to enjoy an unforgettable evening at El Querandí, one of the most emblematic tango houses in Buenos Aires. Located in a restored 1920s mansion in the heart of San Telmo, this venue has been declared a “Living Testimony of the City’s Memory” by the Historical Museum of Buenos Aires.

Enjoy a three-course à la carte dinner featuring typical Argentine dishes and a wide selection of wines, beers, soft drinks, and coffee.

The show Nuestro Tango takes you through five historic eras of tango, from its origins in the outskirts of the city to its modern-day evolution, performed by four dance couples, two singers, and a live quartet (bandoneon, piano, violin, and double bass).

This experience is distinguished by its intimate atmosphere, artistic quality, and commitment to tango as an authentic cultural expression of Argentina.

At the end of the evening, return transfer to your hotel: Hotel Rochester Concept.

Day 5: Tierra del Fuego National Park & End of the World Train - Beagle Channel Navigation/Martillo Island with Penguins

At 7:00 a.m., depart from the hotel towards Tierra del Fuego National Park, the only national park in Argentina with a maritime coast. This protected area covers over 63,000 hectares of sub-Antarctic forest, home to lengas, ñires, guindos, and wild orchids, among other species.

The first stop will be at the End of the World Train Station to board a scenic 7 km journey on historic steam locomotives. This route follows the same path once used by trains transporting prisoners from Ushuaia’s old prison between 1910 and 1947. Along the way, passengers enjoy multilingual commentary and panoramic views of the Pipo River Valley and La Macarena waterfall.

At the end of the train ride, the tour continues deeper into the park, walking along trails through ancient forests and natural viewpoints overlooking the Beagle Channel.

The excursion continues to Roca Lake, known in the Yámana language as Acigami (“elongated basket”), surrounded by snow-capped peaks, old man’s beard lichens, and glacial landscapes. Here, you may visit the Forest House or take a break at the Alakush Café, which also serves as the park’s interpretive center.

The next stop is Lapataia Bay, the southern end of National Route 3 and one of the most symbolic places in Tierra del Fuego. From its walkways, you can contemplate the horizon at the “end of the continent,” immersed in the vastness of southern nature.

After the visit, return to Ushuaia for the afternoon portion of the program.

In the afternoon, transfer to the port of Ushuaia to embark on a navigation through the Beagle Channel, one of the region’s most emblematic experiences.

Onboard the vessel, you will find bathrooms, heating, and a cafeteria serving snacks, drinks, coffee, and light meals for greater comfort during the trip.

The route includes Bird Island, home to cormorants and other seabirds; Sea Lion Island, where South American sea lions can be observed in their natural habitat; and the iconic Les Éclaireurs Lighthouse, symbol of the southern tip of Argentina.

The highlight will be disembarking on Martillo Island, where you will walk among a stable colony of Gentoo penguins, the third largest species after the Emperor and King penguins. This activity is conducted under strict preservation rules, allowing you to observe wildlife up close in its pristine sub-Antarctic environment.

The journey follows the shoreline of Lake Argentino, passing through Bahía Redonda, home to birds such as flamingos, black-necked swans, and upland geese. The first 40 km cross the Patagonian steppe, and as you enter the park, the landscape transforms into Andean-Patagonian forest with species like ñires, lengas, and guindos, along with brightly colored flowers depending on the season.

Before reaching the glacier, stop at the famous “Curve of Sighs,” where you’ll get your first panoramic view of Perito Moreno — an unforgettable moment for photographs and to take in the immensity of the surroundings.

Continue to the network of panoramic walkways, a series of elevated paths stretching about 5 km, offering multiple viewpoints facing the glacier. From here you can observe the continuous calving of ice that crashes dramatically into the waters of the Brazo Rico of Lake Argentino.

The Perito Moreno Glacier, with a front wall over 70 meters high and 5 km wide, is one of the few glaciers in the world that is still advancing.

At the end of the visit, return transfer to your hotel: Hotel Kapenke.

Day 8: “Todo Glaciares” – Icebergs and Upsala Glacier - Spegazzini Channel and Approach to the Spegazzini Glacier
Day 8: “Todo Glaciares” – Icebergs and Upsala Glacier - Spegazzini Channel and Approach to the Spegazzini Glacier

At 7:00 a.m., transfer from your hotel to Puerto Punta Bandera, located 47 km from El Calafate. Here you will board a modern vessel equipped with bathrooms, heating, and a cafeteria offering snacks, hot drinks, and panoramic lounges.

The navigation begins along the North Arm of Lake Argentino, the largest lake in Argentina, surrounded by mountain ranges and turquoise glacial waters. The scenery becomes increasingly spectacular as you pass through the narrow Boca del Diablo, the gateway to the glacier channels.

From here, the boat enters the Upsala Channel, where enormous floating icebergs drift, having broken off from the Upsala Glacier — one of the largest in Los Glaciares National Park. Their varied shapes, textures, and intense shades of blue create a stunning, silent scene that reflects the immensity of southern Patagonia.

The cruise continues through the Spegazzini Channel, lined with cliffs, native forests, and snow-capped peaks. Along the way you will see hanging glaciers such as Seco, Heim Sur, and Peineta, cascading dramatically down the mountainsides into the lake.

The journey culminates with the imposing Spegazzini Glacier, the tallest in the park, with a towering ice wall reaching over 135 meters high. The boat carefully approaches the glacier’s face, allowing for a privileged perspective of its magnitude.

Disembark at the Spegazzini Base, located directly across from the glacier, to begin the second part of the experience.

Once on land, you will have access to the modern and eco-friendly Spegazzini Refuge, featuring heated lounges, panoramic terraces, restrooms, and a restaurant.

Here you’ll enjoy the included lunch, with regional dishes and menu options to suit different tastes, all while admiring direct views of the glacier.

After lunch, enjoy free time to walk along interpretive trails, explore the natural surroundings, stop at viewpoints, and take photographs. The closeness to the glacier and the serene setting make this a unique and unforgettable experience.

At around 3:00 p.m., return by boat to Puerto Punta Bandera, with arrival expected at approximately 4:00 p.m. From there, transfer back to your hotel: Hotel Kapenke.

Day 10: Iguazú Falls – Devil’s Throat - Upper and Lower Circuits

At 7:00 a.m., depart from your hotel for a full-day visit to Iguazú National Park, one of the country’s most emblematic natural reserves. The park spans the subtropical rainforest of Misiones Province and is home to one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World: Iguazú Falls.

The day begins with a ride on the park’s ecological train to the Devil’s Throat Station. From there, a series of walkways lead you directly to the edge of the park’s most spectacular cascade.

The Devil’s Throat is a dramatic horseshoe-shaped set of waterfalls, dropping 80 meters into a narrow gorge. The constant roar, rising mist, and raw energy of this site make it one of the most unforgettable moments of the trip.

After visiting the Devil’s Throat, continue to the Upper Circuit, a walkway offering unique panoramic views of the tallest waterfalls on the Argentine side, as well as the islands of the Iguazú River delta.

Next, explore the Lower Circuit, a path closer to water level, winding through lush vegetation and bringing you nearer to the base of the falls. This immersive experience allows you to feel the mist, hear the thunderous roar, and enjoy multiple perspectives of the cascades.

At the end of the tour, return transfer to your hotel: Hotel Jardín de Iguazú.

Day 11: Iguazú Falls – Brazilian Side

At 7:00 a.m., depart from your hotel in Puerto Iguazú towards the Brazilian side of Iguazú Falls. On the way, you will cross the border between Argentina and Brazil — valid passports are required. Processing times may vary depending on the season and number of visitors.

Upon arrival at Iguaçu National Park (a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site), board an eco-bus to reach the walkway area, where the scenic trail begins.

This circuit offers frontal and panoramic views of the entire waterfall system, providing a completely different perspective than the Argentine side. The path ends at Floriano Falls, where you can experience the tremendous force of the water up close, surrounded by spray, thunderous sound, and refreshing mist.

At the end of the visit, return transfer to your hotel: Hotel Jardín de Iguazú.
