Sail on the Amazon, the world’s greatest river, onboard comfortable and safe boats. Arrival in the Amazonas Sinchicuy Lodge (18 Miles NE from Iquitos). Our native-style built lodge is surrounded by trees, plants and flowers, a true tropical garden where birds and butterflies are abundant.
After visiting the boulevard de Paracas the guide will take you to visit the Paracas Reserve. This is a huge protected area located south west of the city of Pisco. The name of this beautiful place is derived from a Quechua word meaning “sand rain” probably due to the strong winds that hit the evenings here.
We will continue our adventure to the Desert of Siloli, on the way we will observe the active volcano of Ollague, the lagoons of Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarcota and Honda, these lagoons are populated by flamingos.

Day 1: INTERNACIONAL FIGHT TO LIMA PERU

International arrival to Lima Assistance on your arrival to Lima "Jorge Chavez" Airport and transfer to the Hotel Ducado.

Day 2: FLIGHT LIMA/IQUITOS- VISITS IN THE JUNGLE– SINCHICUY LODGE

04.00 AM. Transfer to the airport to Iquitos in Peruvian Airlines that departures 06.20 AM. And arrives at 08.10 AM. Reception in Iquitos and transfer to SINCHUCUY LODGE.
Our personnel will meet and greet you at the Iquitos Airport from where you will be transferred to the city. Along the way you will briefly sightsee the tourist highlights of Iquitos, this representative Peruvian jungle town that on the 19th Century turned from a small outpost to the most important port city in the Amazon basin, acquiring an outstanding cosmopolitan status during the so called “Rubber boom”.

Ecocultural Circuit (The Sinchicuy Watershed Ecosystem)
Short walk or canoe ride in the afternoon –depending on the season- to “Nuevo Peru” where a Yagua community has established. The Yaguas are one of the most ancient ethnic groups of the Amazon rainforest, discovered by Francisco de Orellana on his first Amazon River exploration. Visiting these friendly people will let you know their customs see their unique apparel made of palm fibers and even try their “pucuna” or blowgun.
Lunch. Food specialty products in the Amazonas Sinchicuy include fruits from the river and the field.
In the afternoon, you will proceed with an ethnobotanic walk on a trail where you will be able to identify some species of the plant kingdom (Cat’s Claw, Sour Cane, Copaiba, Aguaje and even Ayahuasca, the hallucinogen vine).
Visit the “shaman’s cottage”, to find out about the particularities of the regional flora and its applications. Tour the Santa María del Ojeal farmlands where you will see an artisanal sugar cane squeeze and fruit orchard, walk around a typical village on the shores of the Amazon. You may interact with villagers as you pass by their typical houses, schools, churches and shops; you will also see the community’s sustained development projects that are possible by ecotourism support. Returning to the Lodge you will delight on the sight of a beautiful Amazon sunset.
Evening excursión…/Amazon legends…
At indicated time, evening canoe ride or walk to sense the jungle after dark. Return to the lodge. After enjoying a delightful meal, the guide will amuse you with tales and legends from the rich Amazon myths. Also, if you desire, our personnel will share with you a time for music and singing. Overnight.

Day 3: AMAZONAS SINCHICUY LODGE/FULL DAY YANAAYACU (B, L, D)

After breakfast you will board the boat that will take you to the opposite side of the Amazon River or “huashalado” as it is locally known.
FLORA AND FAUNA Program (The Yanayacu Watershed Ecosystem)
Full day exploring the primary jungle reserve in the Yanayacu River ecosystem. Navigation in open boats on the Amazon River to spot pink dolphins, main characters of fantastic tales and legends told by the river people.
Arrival in the Huashalado Village from where you will make a short walk to the Yanayacu River, where another boat will be waiting to take you in this excursion. You will enter the “Kingdom of the Giant Trees”, which has been given this name because of the size reached by some specimens amongst them the “lupuna” or ceiba. This is a favorite site for birds since it is in the river they find the fish and fruit that grows on its edges; even more, the thick forest offers ideal possibilities for nestling. With a bit of luck, you could also, spot monkeys moving on the tree tops or maybe a sloth hanging from a branch and thus mimetizing and making it almost impossible to be seen.
Boxed lunch in the boat or on the edge of the river.
Primary jungle hike by trail or canoe ride –according to the season- in which you will observe particularities of plants and trees from this ecosystem like the Victoria Regia, which reaches 1.80 m. diameter.
Return to the Amazonas Sinchicuy Lodge. On the way you will have the chance to do native-style fishing of piranhas and other species. Arrival in the Amazonas Sinchicuy Lodge. If you wish, there will be an evening canoe ride or if you decide not to you could comfortably sway on a hammock or enjoy an exotic drink at the “Clavohuasca Bar”.
Supper. Overnight.

Day 4: AMAZONAS SINCHICUY LODGE/FUNDO NEISER/FLIGHT TO LIMA

Breakfast. Visit the Wildlife Project, recently called as Fundo Neiser Custody Centre to observe some of the varieties of wild animals such as sloth bears, monkeys, achunis, macaws, toucans, boas and lizards. It will be an interesting way to learn to appreciate and respect wildlife typical of our Amazonia.
After our educational tour, we went to the Amazonas Sinchicuy Lodge for lunch sleep. A proper time we will take our boat to head to Iquitos, where a representative will be waiting to lead us to the airport to take your flight to Lima. Arrival in Lima and transfer to the Hotel Ducado.

Day 5: CITY TOUR IN LIMA & BUS LIMA – PARACAS

09.00 Am. Breakfast. Guided sightseeing tour to the most attractive and important sites in Lima, the "City of Kings".
Our tour will take you through Lima in its 3 historical periods: Pre-hispanic, Colonial and Modern. We will first show you a panoramic view of “La Huaca Pucllana”, and then you will visit the impressive Historical Downtown of Lima: Its palaces, mansions, churches and squares, ending with a visit to the residential district of San Isidro and an unforgettable view of the Pacific Ocean from the district of Miraflores.
13:00 PM. In the afternoon transport by bus from Lima to Paracas Peninsula, where we can find the most important wildlife sanctuary on the Peruvian Coast. 18:30 PM. Arrival in Pisco and transfer to the selected Hotel.

Day 6: PARACAS NATIONAL RESERVE / BALLESTAS ISLAND + BUS TO ICA

08h00: Boat excursion to the Ballestas Islands, in the Paracas National Reserve, where we can observe sea lions, bobo bird, pelicans, penguins and marine birds. On the way back, from the water, we can also see the "Candelabro" (Candelabrum), a giant figure etched in the sand on the side of a hill in the style of the Nazca Lines.
11.00 AM. Visit to the Paracas National Reserve in group service. After visiting the boulevard de Paracas the guide will take you to visit the Paracas Reserve. This is a huge protected area located south west of the city of Pisco. The name of this beautiful place is derived from a Quechua word meaning “sand rain” probably due to the strong winds that hit the evenings here. The Paracas National Reserve is also very important since in their inhabit waters abundant quantities of zooplankton and phytoplankton, which allows a variety of fish that allow industrial and artisanal fisheries. This is a very important activity in the town of Pisco. The Paracas National Reserve is located in an area of 335,000 hectares and is considered one of the most important ecosystems on the planet. During our visit we will see the beautiful cliffs and beaches along this tour (red beach beach Yumaque, lagunilla).
17.00 PM. Transfer to the bus station to departure to Ica.
18.45 PM: Arrival in Ica and transfer to the Hotel Mossone.

Day 7: VISIT TO THE HUACACHINA AND LAS DUNAS + BUS TO NAZCA

Day 8: NAZCA LINES + BUS NAZCA – AREQUIPA

13.30 PM. Transfer to the airport to travel to the city of Arequipa (about 8n hours).
23.55 PM. Arrival in Arequipa and transfer to Hotel Casa Consuelo

Day 9: CITY TOUR IN AREQUIPA + SANTA CATALINA CONVENT

14.00 Pm. City tour Arrival at the Arequipa City and transfer to the Select Hotel Afternoon city tour of Arequipa, including Santa Catalina monastery, the Main Square, one of the most beautiful squares in Peru, and the Cathedral, a prime example of XIX century Peruvian architecture, housing beautiful treasures in gold and silver. We also visit the La Compania Church, and ancient Jesuit temple, one face is even crowned with feathers. Then, we will visit the Santa Catalina Convent.

Day 10: COLCA CANYON + OVERNIGHT IN CHIVAY

07.30 Am. Early in the morning, after breakfast, start your trip to the Colca Canyon, visiting on the way Pampas Cañahuas, the Mirador of the Andes, the crater of Chucura, the Mirador of Chivay, where pre-inca andens may be appreciated. Arrival to the town of Chivay at 13:00hrs. Approx. Transfer to your selected lodge. Box lunch (light meals in the altitude). In the afternoon free time to visit thermal and medical baths.

Day 11: COLCA CANYON CONDORS CROSS + TOURIST BUS 4M CHIVAY – PUNO

06.00 Am. After breakfast, very early in the morning, drive to the Condor's Cross, natural observation point from where the magnitude of the Colca Canyon and the spectacular flight of the majestic condor is appreciated. On the way back to Chivay, visit to the Mirador of Chinina, where we will find the famous Hanging Tombs and the Hanging Bridge of Sifón that joins the town of Yanque with Coporaque. At the town of Yanque, visit its beautiful church and its characteristic stone streets among other attractions. To have spectacular views of the Colca Valley, we will drive to the observation points of Choquetipo and Artahuilque and also to the town of Maca. After Lunch depart from Chivay (Colca canyon) to the Lake Titicaca (Puno), the bus departure at 1:30pm and arrive at 19:00 pm approximately. Overnight at hotel Sillustani.

Day 12: BUS PUNO/COPACABANA + ISLAND OF THE SUN + BUS TO LA PAZ BOLIVIA

11.30 AM. Begin our tour to the Island of the Sun (Shared Craft), Crossing the lake for approximately an hour and a half until arriving to the South part of the Island of the Sun, place where we visit the Archaeological remains of "Pilkokaina - Temple of the Inca, a religious centre, later on a small walk for the perrons of built Yumani for our ancestors until arriving to the Youth's source, there you will be able to become purified taking some sacred water, is believed that this source is the eternal youth's source, and we will also enjoy the beauty of that beautiful Incan garden. Return to the population of Copacabana to take the bus Copacabana - La Paz. 16.00 PM. Bus to La Paz
20.00 PM. Arrival in La Paz and transfer to the Hotel Eva Palace

Day 13: VISIT TO THE RUINS OF TIAWANACO + BUS LA PAZ/UYUNI

08.00 AM. Breakfast. In the morning you will visit the ruins of Tiwanaku, capital of a civilization that arose in 700 AD. Located 72 Kms from the city of La Paz. During its heyday, the capital of Tiwanaku was the largest in the world considered the Cradle of American Civilization. These pre-Inca ruins gave rise to endless archaeological debates about the antiquity of the same, one of the last studies of Carbon 14 has shown an antiquity of 1580 years A.C.
19.00 PM. Tour to Tiawanaco in group service + Transfer to the bus station and departure to Uyuni and the bus leaves at 20.00 PM. (Bus bed)

Day 14: VISIT THE SALT FLATS – FISH ISLAND– TAHUA – ISLA INKAWASI

07.00 AM. Arrival in Uyuni and transfer to the office for an orientation and information of the trip.
10:00AM. The beautiful Uyuni salt flats (or Salar de Uyuni) is with its 10.582 square km (4.085 square miles) the world’s largest salt flat. On the way we will visit the following tourist attractions.
Train cemetery.- There you can see trains and locomotives very old from the years 1899, most of the trains circulated with wagons loaded with minerals but this lasted very little time, these trains were part of an industrial past, nowadays Transformed into a tourist destination today.
The population of Colchani. - Located on the banks of the great Salar, is the main entrance to the salt desert, where we will observe the activity of salt extraction in a handmade way. The villagers will teach us the process of drying, grinding and bagging ready for consumption.

Hotel de Sal.- Located in the heart of Salar, built with blocks of salt, both outside and inside as well as its walls, floor, beds, tables and chairs, all made of salt.
Isla Incahuasi (Isla del Pescado). Located in the middle of the salt desert, the Incahuasi Island known as "The Fish Island" populated by numerous giant cactus with heights over 10 meters, from the top you can contemplate the wonderful Landscape of the Salar, later to our visit to the island we will have the lunch and in the afternoon we will continue to the Town of Tahua where we spend the night in hotel.

Day 15: TAHUA - LAGOONS – DESERT SILOLI

After breakfast we will continue our adventure to the Desert of Siloli, on the way we will observe the active volcano of Ollague, the lagoons of Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarcota and Honda, these lagoons are populated by flamingos, at noon we stop on the way to Have lunch and in the afternoon we will continue our journey to the Siloli Desert where we will spend the night.

Day 18: VISIT TO THE TITICACA LAKE (UROS AND TAQUILE ISLAND)

Day 21: VISIT TO THE SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS (MARKET OF PISAQ AND FORTRESS OF OLLANTAYTAMBO + TRAIN TO AGUAS CALIENTES

We will visit the town of Pisac with its typical Indian market where you can appreciate the ancestral customs of its inhabitants, using barter (exchange of products) for commercialization. Day 22: VISIT TO MACHU PICCHU + TRAIN TO RETURN TO CUSCO

06.00 am Early in the morning we will transfer to the bus station that will take us on a 30 minute journey, ascending a zigzag path, to the incredible Machu Picchu. The tour includes a guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the royal quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and the cemeteries. Free time to stroll around the citadel. Lunch at a restaurant in the town of Aguas Calientes.
18.20 PM. Train back to Cusco in expedition service
21.55 PM. Arrival to Cusco and transfer to Hotel Inka Andina

Day 23: VISIT TO MARAS & MORAY

09.00 AM. Our tour begins with the pick up from the hotel of the city of Cusco in our tourist mobility, to go to the population of Maras, passing through very typical populations and beautiful landscapes that we can enjoy in our tour, arrival and visit to the following places MARAS: Located in the province of Urubamba at 3300 m.s.n.m. From there you can see the Vilcanota mountain range and snowy peaks: "El Chikón" (5530 m.s.n.m), "Putukisi" "La Verónica" (5682 m.s.n.m). Nowadays this picturesque town keeps attractive of the pre-hispanic, colonial and republican period, emphasizing in the town streets and colonial fronts with shields of the nobles and caciques of the centuries XVII and XVIII.
MORAY: It is about 7 km southwest of Maras and 53 km from Cusco with altitude of 3,385 m.s.n.m; Is a unique archaeological group of its kind in the region. These are giant natural holes that were used by the Inkas who built terraces or agricultural platforms with their respective irrigation channels, is therefore a prototype of greenhouse, the largest hole has depth of 150 meters and Average height of platforms is 1.80 meters, between each one of them. The structures found here are Inkas, it is also estimated that the bottom is on a natural rocky formation that facilitates the inland filtration of the earth, so that no flood occurs in the rainy season.
