City tour of the "City of Kings", including the Lima’s Historical Center, visiting Main Square, Government Palace, City Hall, the Cathedral (Here is the tomb of Francisco Pizarro, conqueror of Peru), Museum of the Cathedral, Temple of Santo Domingo (tombs of Santa Rosa and San Martin), Temple of San Pedro, Lima Colonial Balconies, Torre Tagle Palace, Paseo de Aguas and Convent de los Descalzos. Then, drive through the residential district of San Isidro, visiting El Olivar Park; Miraflores, visiting the Kennedy Park, Love Park and Larcomar Mall.
City tour of Cuzco visiting the Main Square, the Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun or Korikancha.Then, drive out of the city to visit the Inca sites of Kenko, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuaman, built strategically on a hill overlooking Cusco; famous for its enormous carved stones joined with astounding precision to form the outer walls. Some of these stones stand over 9m / 30ft tall and weight over 350 tons.
Excursion to Urubamba, the sacred valley of the Incas and to the ancient Inca market town of Pisac.. A visit will be made to Ollantaytambo, the only Inca town that was not defeated by the Spanish. A chance to explore the ruins before returning to Cuzco and the traditional market town of Chinchero.

Day 1: LIMA

Arrival in Lima, reception and transfer by executive car to the deluxe five star JW MARRIOTT HOTEL.. Free time to relax before we start our trip around this magical country.

Day 2: LIMA

After breakfast, at 09:00 am we will pick you up for your city tour of the "City of Kings" including the Historical Center of Lima, visiting Main Square, Government Palace, City Hall, the Cathedral (where the tomb of Francisco Pizarro, conqueror of Peru, is located), Cathedral´s Museum, Temple of Santo Domingo (tombs of Santa Rosa and San Martin), Temple of San Pedro, Lima Colonial Balconies, Torre Tagle Palace, Paseo de Aguas and Convent de Los Descalzos. Then, drive through the residential district of San Isidro, visiting El Olivar Park; Miraflores, visiting the Kennedy Park, Love Park and Larcomar Mall.
13:00 pm Lunch
After Lunch for an excellent overview of Peru's past, visit the Larco Herrera Museum holding the best private collection of pre-Columbian art in Peru. Here are shown many fine examples of textile works, one of which has a world-record 398 threads per inch; the materials and tools that ancient Peruvians used to produce their work in ceramics and metal; Peruvian pottery, gold and silver pieces with semiprecious stones from Pre-Inca and Inca cultures. Return to your selected hotel for overnight.

Day 3: LIMA-CUZCO

Transfer to the airport for the flight to Cuzco, the ancient Inca capital. After the one hour flight, reception and transfer to the wonderful five star JW MARRIOT CUSCO hotel.
14:00 PM In the afternoon a guided tour of Cuzco visiting the Main Square
Including the Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun or Korikancha. 18:00 pm Return to the hotel. Dinner in the evening followed by a folkloric show.

Day 4: SACRED VALLEY – PISAC- OLLANTAYTAMBO-CHINCHERO

09:00 AmFull-day excursion to Urubamba, the sacred valley of the Incas and to the ancient Inca market town of Pisac.. A visit will be made to Ollantaytambo, the only Inca town that was not defeated by the Spanish. A chance to explore the ruins before returning to Cuzco and the traditional market town of Chinchero.
A succession of picturesque towns, agricultural terraces and archaeological sites. Explore at your own pace the Market of Pisac, a picturesque Andean shopping center where native people are seen bartering their products and also selling a wide variety of handicrafts. On Sunday there is a catholic mass service on Sunday celebrated in Quechua, the native language.
Lunch at a local restaurant in the Sacred Valley.
In the afternoon we pass through Calca and Urubamba towns to arrive at the Inca Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo. Built to guard the valley entrance and protect it from enemies of the lower jungles it consists of a series of superimposed terraces of carved stones accessed by long staircases. Walk through the quaint streets of the nearby town, a religious and agricultural center during the Inca Empire. Visit the picturesque Andean village of Chinchero where the remains of the royal hacienda of Tupac Inca Yupanqui lies. Admire the well preserved Inca wall at the Main Square, visit the beautiful colonial temple built on Inca foundations. Return to Cusco in the late afternoon.

Day 5: Machupicchu

Transfer to Poroy, a short distance from Cuzco for the luxurious Hiram Bingham train to Aguas Calientes. Full day's guided tour of Machupicchu, the most spectacular ancient city in the world. Lunch, dinner and accommodation at the Machupicchu Sanctuary Lodge
The day starts with an early morning transfer to Poroy train station.

09:05 AM Enjoy a unique train ride towards the marvelous Inca ruins of Machupicchu. Get the most outstanding views of the Urubamba River, which cuts its way through green fields beneath the high peaks of the Andean glaciers.

After our three 1/2 hour train journey arrival in Aguas Calientes train station at 12:24 pm . After we drive up the mountain to the famous Inca Citadel of Machupicchu, also known as "The Lost City of the Incas". Upon arrival our guided tour begins, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Dial (Intiwatana), the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and various burial grounds. After the tour you will have time to stroll around the archaeological site.

Day 6: Machupicchu

Opportunity to enjoy a wonderful sunrise over Machupicchu and some personal time for private reflection. Lunch at the Sanctuary lodge.
Tea Time in the Machupicchu Sanctuary Lodge by Orinet Express – Hotels.
17:50 PM Return to Cuzco in the evening aboard the luxury Hiram Bingham train. Cocktails followed by dinner aboard the train.
21:16 PM Reception and transfer to the JW Marriot Cusco .

Day 7: CUZCO-LIMA

Transfer to the airport for the return flight back to Lima and connection with your international flight back home.
