We will visit the Cathedral, the Post Office and Santiago City Hall. Next, we head to the Government Palace and also visit a few older neighborhoods of Santiago. One of them is Plaza Concha y Toro, known for its cobblestone streets and old mansions that reflect the elegance and wealth of its early 20th century inhabitants.
You´ll pass by a large number of traditional alleys to get across the Cerro Alegre. We then go on a panoramic visit of the neighboring city of Viña del Mar, that once sheltered the cream of Chile´s society and is characterized by its beautiful parks and beaches.
Visit representative examples of not restored platforms, Ahus Vaihu in the bay of Hanga Te’e, and Akahanga, where supposedly the famous king Hotu Matua was buried. Proceed to Rano Raraku, quarry of almost 900 stone statues, 397 of them still lying or standing at the slopes of the extinct volcano with Crater Lake.

Day 1: SANTIAGO DE CHILE

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Rest of day at leisure. Overnight in Santiago de Chile.



Day 2: SANTIAGO: City Tour

08:30 am Our guide will pick you up from the Hotel to Visit this city .Starting at the San Cristobal hill, our guide will you show the immensity of the city; its geography and urban setting. We will walk to the Plaza de Armas (Main Square), where we will visit the Cathedral, the Post Office and Santiago City Hall. Next, we head to the Government Palace and also visit a few older neighborhoods of Santiago. One of them is Plaza Concha y Toro, known for its cobblestone streets and old mansions that reflect the elegance and wealth of its early 20th century inhabitants.
We then head east; where we will see modern buildings and the changes they have brought to the neighborhoods, ending our tour at a handicraft store, where we enjoy a Pisco Sour while we admire the lapis lazuli jewelry, a stone that is only found in Chile and Afghanistan.

Day 3: Guided Tour of Vina del Mar and Valparaiso

From Santiago, we’ll travel through the valleys of Curacaví and Casablanca to get to Valparaiso (1.5 hrs of Santiago) also called the "Pearl of the Pacific". Enjoy this wonderful city, full of tradition and history. At the foot of the hills, we´ll check on the Plaza Sotomayor, the main square, right in front of the port. We will also wander through the city´s plazas, passages and lifts. Once on the higher level, you´ll enjoy walking across the Alegre and Concepcion hills and strolling along the Yugoslav and Gervasoni Promenades where the famous Cafe Turri and the home of renowned cartoonist Lukas are located.
You´ll pass by a large number of traditional alleys to get across the Cerro Alegre. We then go on a panoramic visit of the neighboring city of Viña del Mar, that once sheltered the cream of Chile´s society and is characterized by its beautiful parks and beaches. The coastal area of Isla Negra shelters another house of Chilean poet Pablo Neruda, who won the Nobel Prize in literature in 1971 and is considered one of the best and more influential poets of the 20th century. His home was made of stone and wood, and resembles a large ship. Today is has been turned into a museum and Neruda and his third wife, Matilde Urrutia, are buried there.

Day 4: SANTIAGO DE CHILE - CALAMA - SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA

Transfer to the airport in order to take your flight to Calama. Arrival at the airport of Calama and transfer to San Pedro de Atacama. Overnight in San Pedro de Atacama. (Breakfast)


Day 5: ATACAMA SALT LAKE - ALTIPLANIC LAGOONS

We will visit today the great Atacama Salt Lake in Los Flamencos National Reserve where you will enjoy its immensity surrounded by fauna in the Chaxa lagoon and surroundings between the flamingos being these the main attraction of the salt with their beauty. Afterwards we will take the road to the highlands to visit the lagoons Miscanti and Miñiques located at 4,200 meters above the sea level at the base of the volcanoes of the "Cordillera de los Andes". The lagoons will delight us with the nature of a landscape of contrasts. We will then enjoy a lunch in the town of Socaire village highlighted for its traditional cuisine. Finally, before returning, we will visit the town of Toconao, its bell tower and Church of San Lucas, both National Monuments since 1951. Overnight in San Pedro de Atacama. (breakfast, lunch).

Day 6: EL TATIO GEYSERS & MACHUCA - MOON VALLEY

Our trip to the highlands begins during the early morning hours to finally reach one of the most important geothermal fields in the world, “Geysers de El Tatio” surrounded with water emanations and steam, we will enjoy the beauty of the Andes and with this natural stage we will offer you an agreeable breakfast. Then we will visit the "Pozon Rustico" where you will be able to enjoy the thermal waters that the mountain range gives us. Taking the road back to San Pedro de Atacama you will enjoy the beauty of the landscape, native flora and fauna to finally stop at the village of Machuca, shepherds of llamas place, today this town of adobe, straw and cactus wood House is dedicated to the tourism offering local products such as Andean handicraft, Llama's meat, Sopaipillas and empanadas. As an historical and architectural appeal we will visit the San Santiago Church, patron saint of the town. Afterwards, we will return to San Pedro de Atacama. In the afternoon we will visit the Moon Valley. In the middle of the deep dryness of the salt mountain range we find a landscape of salt and clay shaped by water and wind over millions of years. In our journey we will be able to enjoy the beauty delivered by extravagant forms that the cordillera mountain range gives us encouraging to imagination and reflection for your peace of mind. As we spend the afternoon we will go into the Death Valley and from there we will enjoy one of the best views of the Andes and its volcanoes, to finally finish watching the sunset that through its colorful gives us a wonderful end to our tour. Overnight in San Pedro de Atacama. (Breakfast)

Day 7: SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA - CALAMA - SANTIAGO DE CHILE

Transfer to the airport in order to board you flight to Santiago de Chile. Upon arrival you will you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Santiago de Chile. (Breakfast)


Day 8: SANTIAGO DE CHILE - EASTER ISLAND

Transfer to the airport in order to take your flight to Easter Island. After your arrival at the Mataveri airport a short transfer will take you to your hotel. Overnight in Hanga Roa. (Breakfast)


Day 9: RANU RARAKU - AHU TONGARIKI - ANAKENA BEACH

Today we will drive to the southcoast coast and visit representative examples of not restored platforms, Ahus Vaihu in the bay of Hanga Te’e, and Akahanga, where supposedly the famous king Hotu Matua was buried. Proceed to Rano Raraku, quarry of almost 900 stone statues, 397 of them still lying or standing at the slopes of the extinct volcano with Crater Lake. Then visit Ahu Tongariki (restored with 15 Moais), most recent and biggest restauration on the island. Drive to the eastcoast and visit Ahu Te Pito Kura and the “Navel of the World”. Last but not least visit the beach of Anakena with its restored Ahus Nau Nau and Ature Huke. There you will have the opportunity to enjoy the warm Pacific Ocean. Back to hotel. Overnight in Hanga Roa. (breakfast, box lunch)

Day 10: ORONGO - AHU AKIVI

We will drive up the extinct volcano Rano Kau, appreciate on the way a view over the whole island and see its distinct geological features, proceed to an outlook at the crater lake. Afterwards drive to the ceremonial village of Orongo, where the birdman competition took place and you can see the spectacular petroglyphs related to this culture, enjoy the breathtaking view towards the 3 islets Motu Nui, Motu Iti and Motu Kao Kao opposite the coast. Drive down again to Ahu Vinapu (not restored) and for some still proof of the influence of pre-inca arquitects in Easter Island culture. Last stop is Ana Kai Tangata cave with paintings. The second tour is to restored Ahu Akivi with 7 Moais, built in the middle of the island. The legend tells us that these statues are representing the 7 explorers who were sent to Rapa Nui by the king Hotu Matua. Proceed to the unrestored Ahu Hanga Poukura. Then visit the topknot-quarry Puna Pau with its red scoria stone, where all the Pukaos were made. We will also visit the ceremonial site of Tahai with 3 Ahus and restored statues, remains of boathouses, a boatramp and other features. Here we see the only statue with eyes. Back to hotel. Overnight in Hanga Roa. (breakfast)

Day 11: EASTER ISLAND - SANTIAGO DE CHILE

Transfer to airport in order to board your departing flight. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Santiago de Chile. (breakfast)


Day 12: SANTIAGO DE CHILE

Transfer to the airport to board your departing flight. (Breakfast)
